In mid-September, members of the Nova Scotia Road Builders Association met with Premier Tim Houston at his office in Halifax. Minister of Public Works Fred Tilley and MLA Tom Taggart, Assistant to the Minister, were also present. During the meeting, the group discussed the importance of sustainable budgets to support workforce and long-term business planning. As well as how the return on investment of road construction by the government positively impacts the Nova Scotia economy, especially in rural communities.
We thank the Premier and Minister for their time and look forward to working with government to build a strong Nova Scotia.
